FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Can I purchase my ticket on-site?

Of course, you have the option to purchase your ticket on-site. However, we highly recommend doing so online to avoid congestion at the ticket counter and to ensure quick access.

What is a solidarity ticketing system?

In a perpetual effort to make art and culture accessible and inclusive, Manif d’art has decided to implement a solidarity ticketing system. Inspired by the Théâtre Cercle Molière located in Winnipeg, this form of ticketing allows individuals to pay for their entry based on their financial resources.

Ticket prices range from $5 to $30, with a regular price of $20. Similar to the concept of "paying it forward," this initiative provides the opportunity for a visitor to cover the entry fee for the next person who may have fewer financial resources.

When can I attend the performances of Untitled (2012) by Xavier Le Roy?

Saturday and Sunday

Do I need to visit both locations of the central exhibition on the same day?

If you purchase your ticket directly at one of the two locations, you are indeed required to visit that location on the same day. However, you have the flexibility to visit the second location at your convenience until April 28, 2024.

Can I bring my children to visit the exhibition?

Certainly! For young children, it's recommended to explain to them in advance the good practices to adopt in a museum space:

In an exhibition space, I must...

  • Walk
  • Look with my eyes (I keep my hands by my side, even if it's tempting to touch, except in areas where it's allowed)
  • Speak softly
  • Respect the space, the artworks, and the people working there

Thank you for accompanying your child(ren) to ensure they follow these practices.

*We would like to inform you that on the 2nd floor, there are black and white photographs containing nudity.

What does my ticket grant access to?

Your ticket grants access to both sites of the central exhibition at Espace Quatre Cents and Exmuro, as well as to the Morrin Center library. However, if you prefer to visit only the Morrin Center library and Dawit L. Petros' work, we recommend purchasing a daily pass on-site for $5: link to the Morrin Center page. llink to the Morrin Center page.

Can I come back more than once with my ticket?

The ticket allows for only one visit per location.

Does my ticket for the creation workshop also grant access to the central exhibition?

Yes.

I would like to organize a group visit, how can I do that?

Biennials are often organized in different cities around the world and may have a specific theme or serve as a platform to showcase diverse works by national and international artists. These events play an important role in promoting cultural and artistic diversity on a global scale.
