Spira, Cooperative devoted to independent filmmaking

presents

Cinéphonie

Cinéphonie is a digital creation uniting filmmakers, sound artists, and illustrators. The three disciplines work together to create unique digital pieces that reveal what happens behind the scenes. Four filmmakers write screenplays that are recorded, stage directions included, in a sound studio. The readings, made available as podcast files, are fleshed out with soundtracks composed by sound artists. Illustrators then complete the piece by creating storyboards.
FILMMAKERS: Helgi Piccinin, Andréanne Martin, Felippe Martin, Justice Rutikara. ILLUSTRATORS: Francis Desharnais, Sarah Arnal, Geneviève Chartrand, Pierre-Luc Bérubé. SOUND ARTISTS: Josué Beaucage, Carol-Ann Belzil-Normand, Nady Larchet, Stephanie Hamelin Tomala.
