Minibloc
MONTRÉAL, Canada

Anne-Françoise Jacques and Nicolas Dion formed Minibloc in 2004. The duo focuses on performance, radio creation and acoustic installation. Everyday objects are mined as sources of sound and become points of departure for their work. Minibloc has presented performances at festivals in Montréal, Québec City, Rimouski, Saguenay, Winnipeg and Berlin. Its sound installations have been shown at Clark (Montréal), Séquence (Saguenay), Action Art Actuel (Saint-Jeansur-Richelieu)—three exhibitions curated by Eric Mattson—and in public parks in Montréal.
