François Mathieu
SAINT-SYLVESTRE DE LOTBINIÈRE, Canada

A native of Saint-Éphrem in the Beauce region of Québec, François Mathieu lives and works in Saint-Sylvestre de Lotbinière. He holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy, another in visual arts and a graduate degree in Québec studies. He has worked as a technician at several artist studios in Québec City and is known mainly as a sculptor. He has created a number of public art works and has shown in almost thirty solo and group exhibitions in Canada, Mexico and Belgium.
